Fixing a crooked kitchen

A crooked kitchen can be rescued

Fronts that will not close, drawers that fall out, uneven gaps, a countertop that will not line up — this can be fixed. We start with an inspection for €80, which counts toward the cost of the work if we continue.

All you need: a photo and a few words. We reply during working hours.

Minimum order — €80

This is the smallest order: the master's visit and one agreed small task.

What's included in the price

Before the visit.

We go through the description and photos, clarify the task, assign the right master and prepare the tools for your task.

The visit and the work.

The master arrives with the tools needed for the agreed task, does the work, adjusts and checks the result.

If materials or extra steps are needed.

We can help choose and buy them — terms are agreed in advance. Non-standard materials, rework or an extra visit are agreed separately, before the work is done.

Why there’s a minimum order.

Even a small task needs preparation: we clarify the terms, plan the visit, assign the right master and put together the tools. If a few small jobs can be done in the same visit, it’s cheaper to combine them into one list.

Since the master is already coming to you — if there's another small adjustment, a shelf, a mirror or another task, add it to your request. We'll see what makes sense to do in the same visit.

Installation guarantee

If anything from our work has loosened, shifted or stopped closing properly, we'll come back and fix it free of charge. We state the guarantee period in the order confirmation. The guarantee doesn't cover defects in the furniture or appliances themselves — those are covered by the manufacturer's warranty — or damage from misuse.

What affects the price:

  • Kitchen size
  • What exactly needs fixing
  • Whether part of the kitchen needs full disassembly

If extra work turns up, we'll first show exactly what's needed and agree it with you before doing it.

What's included

What we do

The kitchen closes again and looks even — without a full rebuild, if it can be fixed.

  • Inspecting all cabinets, fronts and drawers
  • Checking level and plumb
  • A prioritized list of problems
  • Adjusting and replacing hinges and runners
  • Aligning fronts and the plinth
  • Tightening cabinet joints
  • Silicone where needed
  • Wall anchoring, if missing

Please note

Book an inspection: a paid visit for €80 with a level and measurements — it helps us say exactly what needs fixing and what it will cost.

Good to know

A chip on one front or the countertop? Sometimes it can be restored instead of replaced.

Process

How we work

  1. 1 You send photos of the kitchen — the overall view and the problem spots
  2. 2 We book an inspection — a paid visit for €80 with a level and measurements
  3. 3 We prepare a plan and a price: what we fix today, what needs to be ordered, what is not possible without disassembly
  4. 4 We carry out the repair — 3–6 hours depending on scope. Small jobs are paid after completion
How to prepare for the master's visit →

We assign a master with the right specialization for the task. For a larger or more complex job, several specialists may come to the site. We confirm the scope and terms in advance.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does fixing a kitchen cost?

Inspection and plan — €80, counted toward the cost of the work. Small kitchen (3–5 cabinets) €220–350, medium (6–9) €350–550, large (10+) €550–850. Adjusting fronts only — €60–120.

The €80 inspection — does it really count toward the cost?

Yes. If we continue, €80 is deducted from the repair bill. If you decide not to fix it, €80 stays as payment for the inspection.

Does the whole kitchen need to come apart?

Usually not — we do the adjustments on site. If full disassembly is needed, we will say so before starting.
